The lead-free, partially fragmenting bullet, Construction No. 12, weighing 10.11 g (156 gr.), offers a balanced combination of precision, effectiveness, and handling. Upon impact, it splits into three stable fragments (up to 2 g each) that radiate outwards from the wound channel at an angle of approximately 30 degrees.
This fragmentation technique ensures a high shock effect within the animal’s body – especially in fleeing or disturbed game. The exit wound is situation-dependent, and the damage to the meat is moderate. With a ballistic coefficient (BC) of 0.26 and a recommended barrel length of 600 mm, this bullet is suitable for precise shots up to 300 m – ideal for driven hunts, well-designed, and reliable.
