Attractive pair of antique German hunting beer steins, richly decorated with detailed relief scenes of traditional hunters, dogs, and wild boar. The steins feature highly sculpted fox-shaped handles and cobalt blue glazed interiors, a classic characteristic of quality German stoneware.
Both steins are fitted with original pewter hinged lids, each stamped and numbered, indicating period of manufacture. The hunting motifs reflect German rural and Alpine traditions and make these steins highly decorative as well as collectible.
