Description
Ferlach over-and-under shotgun, cal. 7x65R 16/70, barrel length 65 cm. Manufacturer: Franz Sodia, No. 17510, Holland system, Holland sidelocks, removable without tools with a hand crank, optics: 1.5-6×32 Abs 4, with Suhl single-action mount. The weapon was once converted to an EAW swivel mount with 30-gauge rings. All parts for the Suhl single-action mount are present.
Stock: good walnut heartwood with zebra effect, straight stock with German cheekpiece and Scottish checkering. Metal buttstock with integrated stock magazine, fully engraved with flat-engraved oak leaves. The entire weapon was engraved in first-class style by master engraver Morgenfurt from Ferlach.
Shell chased with oak leaves, flat-engraved border with oak leaves. View side: stag in flames with leaping animals, and a second stag chased in a completely natural depiction. Right side: Five chamois, chased in a magnificent mountain landscape. Underside: a chased wild boar.
The weapon is in very good condition.
